Small ore dressing plant applicable for gravity treatment of Au-quartz ore in aride climate of subsaharan Africa
Regarding small-scale and rich primary gold quartz vein deposits in territories with intense lateritization (e.g. the Birrimian of West Africa) the alternative simple gravitation technology may be implemented for gold recovery.
Semi-mobile gravity plant with capacity up to 20 t/day, compraising simple-handle circuits of primary crushing, milling and final wet gravity plant with maximum water recirculation. It is easy to accomodate the operating mode of small ore-dressing plants to specific conditions (namely changes in metal content, ore grindability, degree of grain openness and consumption of disponible water).
Gravity treatment is finished by production of the high-percentage Au-concentrate (gold dust, impurities up to 5 % of weight) or the production of gold ingots directly in the area of ore-dressing plant.
Good yield of the gravity technology in the treatment of gold-quartz ore, verified in several localities in Burkina Faso, enables avoid application of chemical agents and mercury (froth recovery of gold to gravity concentrate - up to 80-85%).
According to the concrete results of prospecting and in relation to reserves calculation we carry out:
- sampling and treatment of technological samples and basic technology research of ore
- basic technology research of ore.
- proposal of optimal technology solution of gravity treatment, including economic evaluation of decision investment (cash flow).
- provision of transportation, installation and operation of dressing plant including sources of process water and electrical set
- fabrication of gold dust concentrates or gold ingots.
- in the case of investment means failing we provide parceling of ore deposit infrastructure and buyout of gold.
Basic technological research we can provide with minimum appointments directly in the site.
